Problem of low bandwidth

If the bandwidth is low, the solution is: local storage
In case of local storage all the images are recording in the place of monitoring. The settings of the are able to well define the images storaged in the central recorder. So only the important pictures are sending to the central recorder in the given low bandwidth. (e.g.: only those records, when the camera detected motion).
Methods of the local storage
There is several opportunities to realize local storage: memory card, hard disc, SSD. The advantage of the memory card is the environmental impact resistance, the disadvantage is the lower storage capacity with order of magnitude.
The capacity of the hard disc is enough for days either. Near the puffer function the records will not lose in case of long network drop-out either. To record to the hard disc must carry out more strict environmental conditions. (e.g.: must looking for a suitable refrigeration and heater).
The SSD storage devices are the liminality way. These contain the advantages of the Flash cards and hard discs. But it is too expensive to use it.
Applications
With this solution can monitor the smaller unbacked objects without building a serious network infrastructure. You can install the device into a refrigeration and heater outside camera house, and only looking for a power supply. You can use HSDPA modem to the remote inspection.
It is well used in case of middle size, big area monitoring systems, where there is a WIFI connection only. It sends only the given pictures to the central recorder, there are all the images in the place of monitoring.
